Breakout Updates

Thoth has updated Breakout with news of a new version of JB-Construction, the skyscraper themed map by SnowDog and JB-Scumbucket by BigBird. Maybe I'll change my nick to WetHamster. Anyway, Breakout is as worthy as your custom as ever, if not more so. Don't trust me? See for yourself.

Jail Crew is back!

Remember the olden days? The beginning of the year, to be precise? Caution used to run a UTJB review and news site. At least until Nexusfiles went the way of the sumarian tiger lizard. Now, as the title implies, it's back courtesy of our beloved Planet Unreal. Although he won't be doing reviews (He cites the social demands of high school, although if my experience in high school is anything to go by 'getting four colors of puke beaten out of you' is more like it). Where was I before that little outburst? Oh yeah. What he will be doing is news, interviews, forums and polls. Enough to keep ya busy for a while, me thinks. Drop by Jail Crew. Mention my name and Caution may even give you a discount on the special stuff in the back room.

BigBird releases JB-Scumbucket

BigBird has released his first UTJB map, JB-Scumbucket, and it looks like a winner. Clean, simple design with a low polycount for those of you with less than superior processors. But it still manages to look highly detailed and well thought through. The lighting, I should add, is excellent. Pick it up here.

New map piccies

TheSpoonDog has released some screenshots of his upcoming JB-Antipody. So far, so good. Lighting and texturing looks good, and the architecture is familiar, but novel enough to make it stand out. There's a beta available, but for some reason it's a CTF beta. Still, I'm sure TheSpoonDog would be pleased with any feedback you may have. Here's the feedback thread.
