TheSpoonDog has finally officially released his conversion of CTF-Hydro16, duly named JB-Hydro16, which has already been in MyUnreal's map rotation for a while.
JB-Hydro16 is large, but provides hardly any hiding spots; the arena is nicely made, publicly viewable and hard to miss (although I doubt that most players running by will have a chance to watch the spectacle); and prisoners are given good opportunity to avenge their capture by placing some sniper bullets in their opponents' heads. Try it, and post your feedback in the BreakOut forum.
In the meantime, Wiz is working on the upcoming JB-War, an atmosphere-laden battlefield stage with mortars, barbed wire, trenches and two huge bases. Looks very promising so far, so be sure you don't miss it when it's released.
And there's even more to come: WillySurvive is currently busy updating JB-MidnightCity to add some nifty gadgets, a custom death scene and, last but unfortunately not least, resolve another translocator exploit. Check out the upcoming JB-Quinn's beta screenshots (and some more) meanwhile---they're awesome.
So, while everybody is busy mapping, I myself did a little tweaking and tuning on the Screen component. The upcoming Screen 120 features enhanced customizablility for map surveillance screens, a bundled font texture package, high-resolution screens and many more tweaks and enhancements. See the Development forum for more details.
